Suliman Tekalli (28) was born in the United States and studied under Sergiu Schwartz, Joel Smirnoff, and Hyo Kang. His performing career began early with his radio debut on NPR's show "From the Top" in 2000, playing alongside violinist Mark O’Connor, and his subsequent debut with the Orlando Philharmonic, performing the Sibelius Violin Concerto in 2004 at the age of sixteen. In chamber music he has partnered artists including Gil Shaham and members of the Emerson Quartet.
