Twenty-three-year-old Ji Yoon Lee often gets so nervous that her palms grow ice cold and she panics on the platform. But she has learned to cope with these nervous attacks.

“Just feel how cold my hands are!” Ji Yoon Lee says just after her first-round appearance in the Carl Nielsen Violin Competition.

“When I get nervous I tend to panic”, she explains: “I just have to tell myself that everything will be all right. Just play the way I always do!”
